Celebrating One Year of Adult Classes at TTA Tower Bridge
This month marks a special milestone for TTA Tower Bridge; one year since launching our adult taekwondo classes! What began as a small group of curious beginners has grown into a thriving community where discipline, resilience, and friendship flourish.
When we opened the doors to our first adult session, the goal was simple: to create a welcoming space for adults of all ages and abilities to experience the physical and mental benefits of taekwondo. One year later, it’s inspiring to see how far our students have come.
Dio (6th Kup - green belt), one of our very first adult members, shared: “I began Taekwondo simply out of pure curiosity, having no prior experience whatsoever in martial arts. What started as curiosity quickly became a newfound passion, and I only regret not starting Taekwondo sooner! The supportive atmosphere and expert guidance at TTA Tower Bridge have helped me grow both physically and mentally, every class is full of energy and encouragement. Through training, I’ve learned to challenge my fears, build confidence, and push beyond my limits. I’m truly proud of how much I’ve achieved within just a year”
Max (7th Kup, green tag), who joined around the same time, added: “I wanted a hobby to keep fit and where I could see progress and taekwondo has definitely delivered! It’s been really rewarding feeling my technique and strength improve. But beyond that, the club is just really fun, with instructors and other students who are super supportive and friendly.I’m looking forward to what the next year of taekwondo brings!”
As we celebrate this milestone, we also send huge congratulations to our TTA Tower Bridge competitors who recently represented the club at the 41st TTA Individual Championships in Glasgow on 2 November, returning with gold, silver, and bronze medals and placing the club among the top-ranked clubs in the league table. This marks the third consecutive year that Tower Bridge students have competed, showing how our team continues to grow stronger with every season.
